Best Blogger Tips Pin It A word about Copyright:
The Federal Copyright Law protects copyright. It is unlawful to copy or scan any images without permission of the photographer. Even though the pictures may be of you or your child, the photographer still owns the copyright to the image.

This is in the portrait agreement everyone signs in order to do a portrait session. By stealing images you are doing something illegal and it hurts us all.

Stealing includes right clicking and saving images, printscreening them from slideshows and ESPECIALLY altering them to remove watermarking. CDs are available for purchase. Saving them from slideshows and blogs is not necessary.

Thank You!

Here are several images from Maddie's 4 Month Session. It is amazing to me how a 4 Month Old can have so many expressions. I mean in just one hour's time....to see how many different expressions she had...and I know I didn't even capture them all. I just love her smile so much! It was just amazing to see Maddie having so much fun with some feathers! (but than thinking about it, I would too :)

Best Blogger Tips Pin It This post goes to all of my clients from 2007...THANK YOU!
I don't think I can even begin to find a way to express how much I appreciate you. When I started my photography business , I never imagined that I would meet so many wonderful people. The time I spent with you this year, whether it was a 30 minute session, two hours, or an entire day, is something that I value greatly. For that time, I felt like part of your family. I got to know you a little bit and through my photos I was able to give you memories that you will be able to keep and look back on for years.
Photography has become so much more to me that just taking pictures. It is about the people. About you. Getting to know a little about you, seeing your beauty, capturing your memories. You are why I decided to do this. Those emails you send where you tell me that you LOVE your photos fill me with so much joy. The hugs you give me when your session is over or when I deliver your prints are something that I cherish and look forward to. And of course, your trust in me that I am going to give you beautiful photos even when it seems like I am having you do something totally crazy, tells me that you believe in my style and my work.
Thank you all so much. I hope that these words can express how much I love photography and how much I love that you are part of it. I am looking forward to an exciting year in 2008 and I hope to see all of you again!

Downtown Shopping at it's BEST!

Ok, me again, obviously that I can tell you that I'm loving this blogging! Too many good things I want to share.

I would like to take a couple of minutes and point out an amazing store in the heart of downtown Jesup. On 136 W. Cherry street you can find Moppetts, Mrs. Wylene is the owner and I have to tell you, she carries a variety of clothing lines for infants, boys, girls and maternity wear! If you are looking for something original, fun and cute, Moppetts is the place to be. And with Easter right around the corner, you might want to stop by and check out her Easter dresses, with matching hair bows and even shoes! ( can you tell I have a girl hihi) But don't forget about the little man in your life, she also carries lots of handsome outfits for boys.

So hop on down to Moppetts before Spring passes you by!

Och and before I forget, while shopping you can also check out some of my portraits in her boutique!

Thank YOU Mrs. Wylene!

Several month ago I had the honor of photographing the man of Allegiance Ministries.

We met up to get some portraits done for their NEW CD "This One Tells It All"

We absolutely had a blast , it was soo much fun. After working some on their portraits the band took over and did some extra cool work on designing their CD cover and I was blown away with with the result. Check it out, it's the first picture up here! You should visit their website and listen to their new CD. It's Great!!! http://www.allegianceministries.com/ Be sure to call and request their latest single "Let's Bring America Back" from your local southern gospel station!

Thank you Micah, Shane and Anthony for allowing me to share in it with you!

J & R = Engagment Fun!

Best Blogger Tips Pin It

One of my favorite things to do is the "getting to know you" sessions....aka engagement photo shoot. Alot of clients question why I like to do them and include it in ALMOST ALL my wedding packages. Well other than the initial consult I will probably not see you until the wedding day. By doing this shoot I not only get to know you better but learn how you photograph as individuals and together as a couple. It also puts you more at ease on the wedding day. See my point here is this session was a perfect example of why I do the shoots! I have not spoken to or seen J. and R. since the initial consult. So we decide to meet in St. Simons on the most perfect afternoon....after days of rain. I had such a good time not only did I find out more about the two of them and what they like to do but I realized the 2 are sooooo perfect for each other! So next time you think the engagement or getting to know you session is not important think about it again.....plus it is so much fun!

Check out how much fun J. + R. are having!!!
Well guys I had a blast and I can't wait till the wedding day!
