Eli is 1!!

Pin It Awe, what a bittersweet session this was. Of course I was excited to celebrate with Eli for his first Birthday but at the same time it is the end of his Baby's First Year plan. He has been such a pleasure to photograph this past year and I really hope this was not last one. Thank you so much Becca & Cory for letting me capture his 1st year! It has been an honor!

Tuesday (yeah sorry, I'm a few days behind) Cute sweet Emily Anne came in to let us photograph her 9 month portraits. She's such a supper cute baby. I can't wait to photograph her 1 year portraits, I finally get to meet her big brothers!

Pin It Not only was this morning  a really fun session, but these last 5 weeks are a countdown for Jeff, Tiffany & Grant. They are awaiting the birth of Grant's little baby sis. He is so excited! Grant was awesome, he did everything we asked him to do in his own great way.
We had a blast! I can't wait to meet the newest addition : )

So glad to be back!

Pin It This morning while pulling up at the studio this warm feeling and big smile came upon me! I was ecstatic to be back, even though I enjoyed my vacation and the time spend with the ones I love. There's always a part of me not operating right until I get to do what I love most. So this afternoon I was operating again at 100% and man oh man that is just what I needed to start the new year!
Lauren came in to capture her senior portraits and she rocked it! She looked absolutely stunning! Thanks so much for starting of my new year so wonderful!

Studio hour changes!

With a new year comes new changes and we have lots of them coming :) So first of all we would like to inform you about our studio hours changing. We are still closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. On Saturdays by appointment only. The changes are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday we will be open from 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm. For on location sessions our availability will still be before and after studio hours :)

2012 is going to be big. Really big. Freaking huge!

Pin It I moved to America  a little over 8 years ago and I’ll admit that wasn’t the easiest pill to swallow. It has been a roller coaster of up's and downs but nowhere in my wildest dreams would I have ever imagined this! It took me a few years to figure out what was what around here. Things took off after that and now I’m busier than I’ve ever been. I’ve had some of the most incredible families and couples on the planet. I’ve seen moments that have blown me away, made me cry (in the best possible way), made my heart melt, made me laugh til my stomach hurt, and simply made me say “awwww…”. And I’m pretty sure all of those things will happen again and again in 2012. I’m so thankful to everyone who has helped me since I showed up here –  who trust me and recommend me to their friends and family who remind everyone that they know this photographer named Silvy, the new friends who tell me that they recognize my name and love my work who show me so much love it makes me blush.

I look forward to 2012 with bright eyes and a bushy tail. I’m excited  for the year and can tell that it’s going to be out of this world!
