Judson definitely impressed me today! He's the first little fellow to show me he's big enough to eat his ENTIRE 1st B-day cake : ) and if I say entirely that means... all of it. I have really enjoyed making Judd's portraits throughout his first year. Thank You Heather and Richard, for giving me this privilege!

WDW vacation

Pin It Here are some snapshots from our trip to Walt Disney World.

We went to Magic Kingdom late afternoon and stayed until closing time... perfect weather and hardly any waiting times.... it was just perfect...Later that week we went to Animal Kingdom, just in time for dinner at Yak & Yeti (Yum? Not sure yet what to think) but the park is absolutely beautiful.


This tree is a masterpiece! Gorgeous. I was debating bringing it home for some special portrait sessions : )

My Sarah bug loved the 3d movie, 2x in a row. It's her new favorite!

Please shoot me an email ( silvytompkins@yahoo.com )that explains which image is your absolute favorite. If you only had one image from that day which one would you want the most. I need a story behind why it is your favorite and why it means so much to you. Make it good!!!

What to do: Email me a description of the image or if you know the image number from proofing send that to me. Describe why it means the most to you; Did you cry? Did it capture a special moment? Does it just make you melt every time you see it? It doesn't have to be a long story, I just want to know why it means so much to you.
Once I hear from everyone I will choose the best story and image and that person will receive a 11 x 14 professionally printed on photographic paper, mounted and glazed with a protective coating for a lifetime of beauty of that image.

I'm Back!

OK, I had a great vacation this past week. It was just fabulous to be doing nothing at all! haha But, it feels almost as good to be back and working again. I kinda missed my camera a little. The only thing I absolutely hate is that it rains today! So, the only session I can post today will be the one from this morning, right before it started to pour : ( we made it to the car just in time!

So here they are... great family, gorgeous children, just nice and sweet as can be.... I'll take their portrait any day! : )

This morning I had two of the most precious and sweet babies ever.
Dawsyn and Lily were perfect! This is the reason I LOVE what I do. They were happy the entire time and made it so easy to capture images like these. You can't help but to be in a good mood when you are around babies like this.

Babies, Babies, Babies....

What a fun day this was.... Several babies today and you know what... I can't even post them yet because these portraits are made for some special moms out there. (Now all the mom's that read this blog are probably hoping that it was there baby & husband visiting me today... and I won't tell ! ) I can post one session of today, these two brothers came to visit me this morning and I would like to say thanks to Garrison for being an awesome Big Brother. And of course, baby Layton and mommy too because they both worked with me to get some big smiles!

Speaking of pageants... remember little Stevie's portraits several weeks ago? Well she has been very busy this weekend. On Friday she won 3rd Alternate & Peoples Choice Queen
in the Little Miss County Pageant and Saturday she won most Best Smile, Most Photogenic , Casual Wear Winner & 1st Alternate
Awesome Stevie & Mom : ) Keep on going girls!

And then last but definitely not least, I went out with a gorgeous family to take their first family pictures! ( That is ever!!) What an honor... I hope y'all enjoyed it as much as I did : )

Whatever it takes to make mama happy. I'm really sure that mom, grandma's and even great grandma's are going to appreciate all the efforts these man put into getting some portraits made ! I would say you can't even tell they didn't want to be there! Thanks..... I enjoyed it and I really hope mama is going to be pleased! : )
