Today my Sarah and I went for a little walk. I have been missing my dad, who passed away a few years ago, like crazy. Sarah had been asking why I have been sad, and to share what a great grandfather she had, I thought it was a great time to share who her grandfather was and what he had thought me years ago. What a great way to share what I love doing most in the world with my Tater. So the gift I cherish most, the old hand me down camera from my grandfather handed down to my dad, to me years ago, came in handy today. First time I ever photographed anything, was with this camera, so to see my Sarah try it out today was pretty fun. Brought me back to the days my dad explained me how it works. Wish he could be around to see that even his granddaughter has an interest in photography. I bet if Heaven can read a blog or facebook, that he is smiling big now : )
